- Props to the Biggest Losers!

My wife and I have been watching The Biggest Loser for the past four or five seasons. (Thank you for having a show that does good things besides entertain me). As much as I admire those contestants for going on the show to literally get their asses kicked into shape, I have a whole new level of respect for them now.

Since my first son was born, I can safely say that--through not fault of his--I slowly got into the worst shape of my life. At one point I was 212 lbs and for those that knew me as the 145 lb broomstick until I was 25 years old, imagine that! I got back down to 185 lbs after doing Weight Watchers for a couple of months. Even though I lost the weight, I was still in pretty bad shape and I have slowly gotten worse ever since.

A couple of weeks ago, my doctor weighed me in at 200 lbs. She also informed me that I need to lose 25 lbs and get in shape, or I'm in for not so good things. When a doctor tells you to get in the gym, it brings a whole new meaning to it.

The next day, I joined a local gym which has 24/7 access. That's perfect for me because I work the night shift and I spend the days with my two sons. Without a 24/7 gym, I don't have the ability to do it.

I'll stop the rambling and get to my point. So far after every workout, I feel like I'm going to die. Just the other day, I walked back to work (gym is across the street), and I came very close to losing consciousness. I had to lie on the floor for almost 10 minutes before I could even stand up.
Every week I watch these 300-450 lb people with type II diabetes and all kinds of heart diseases get their asses handed to them for hours upon hours a day, and they suck it up and do it. I spend 30 minutes every other day without someone screaming in my face, and I want to die.
Even though none of you will probably ever read this. I have nothing but the utmost respect for you Biggest Losers. I would not be able to do what you do, and I'm half your size and much healthier in general. Keep on inspiring the millions of people everyday. Show us weaklings over here what you're f-ing made of!

Random Thoughts:

1) I'm extremely disappointed in my local radio station ... They actually mention Jon and Kate on their opening title song of their entertainment report. Give me an F-ING break!

2) Why the F is the MSNBC website down?

3) MacKenzie Phillips ... read the title of my Blog!

4) Is Jaycee's kidnapper/s dead yet?

5) Looking for book reviews for my second book. Anyone interested?

6) Lady Gaga had the best outfits of all time at the VMA's this year ...LOL!
